Dionna Marie completed her 200 hours (RYT) of yoga Anusara Teacher Training Program with Betsey Downing at Garden of the Heart Yoga Center in Sarasota Florida in 2005. In 2015 she began studying for 500 hours (RYT) of advance yoga training through Asheville Yoga Center (AYC) located in Asheville, North Carolina and graduated September of 2020. Dionna Marie is a certified 1st and 2nd Reiki healer and has recently become Certified as an Eden Energy Medicine Practitioner.

Dionna Marie owned and operated Mountain Yoga and Healing in Maryville Tennessee since September of 2005. In winter of 2019 the studio was renamed The Center for Energy Medicine & Healing Movement to combine and reflect her love of yoga and  Energy Medicine.

Dionna Marie has also taught for Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina and taught yoga at the University of Tennessee Non-credit courses for adults. Dionna Marie holds a Masters in Psychology from the University of North Florida and a Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law. She raised two sons and has six grandchildren.
